Trama
A washed-up prize fighter enters the world of illegal street-fighting in a last bid to escape his life of poverty and failure.

First time director Fulvio Bernasconi's film is a cold, grimy study of the depths that pride and hardship can lead to. Michael Venitucci won the best actor prize at the Locarno International Film festival for his role as Mike, an Italian boxer whose dreams of making it big as a pro ended on the canvas. He returns to his hometown,Trieste, and his sister, Anna (Maya Sansa), who has sacrificed her ambitions in support of his. They share a brooding, pseudo-sexual dynamic that ruptures as Mike becomes embroiled with the violent fights and characters involved in underground fist-fighting. Dark, tense and bloody Out of Bounds looks at the soul of a man prepared to push himself to the limits of existence.

ストーリー
プロボクサーのマイクは、妹のアンナと二人でチャンピオンを目指してきた。だが、すでにピークを過ぎ、舞い戻った故郷では試合すら組んでもらえない。借金でおおわれた妹との生活から抜け出すため、マイクはアンナが反対するのを承知のうえで、危険な闇試合の世界へ身を投じる。
